Chesapeake Bay Retriever
The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is a tough breed with natural retrieving instincts. They make great retrievers of large game birds. Their skin is made to resist extremely cold temperatures and water. They have short hair with a heavy undercoat to protect against the cold. They are usually bred in shades of brown. This retriever is an alpha and will require obedience training. They are very intelligent, happy, and loyal to their families.
English Cocker Spaniel
The English Cocker Spaniel is a good flusher and can be a versatile hunter. They prefer moderate temperatures. They are usually black, liver, or red in color and may have some white as well. They adjust easily to different environments and are good family pets. They are not overly active and are very friendly.
German Shorthaired Pointer
German Shorthaired Pointers are pointers and should be allowed to range and hunt close to the hunter. They are good with hunting both on land and water and are very versatile hunters. They are able to hunt with other dogs. They are very energetic and intelligent and needs a lot of activity. They are great family dogs.
